um…Newborn was around 8 weeks, longer for certain items. 0-3 until around 4 or 5 months, 3-6 until 8 months, 6-9….still fit her! She’s over 11 months now. My LO is 3 months, almost 11 pounds and 22.5 inches long. She is still wearing the Carter’s newborn size even though her weight and height are out of the range on their size chart. The 3 month sizes are way too big on her.

Do Carters clothes run the same as everything else?

The thing with Carters is that they’re clothes is 3m, 6m, 9m… but in reality it’s 0-3, 3-6… etc. But it does run a bit small especially after washing and drying, Yes. I usually size up in Carter’s. My 3.5 month old is wearing 6 months and a totally average sized baby.
I have a bunch of Carter’s clothes and haven’t noticed that it shrinks. Some other brands definitely have but I use carters as my “baseline” I guess.
