How do I Put my Baby in the Snoo sack?
Swaddle your baby in the SNOO sack. Open the sack and inner bands and lay your baby down (place your baby’s shoulders 2-3” higher than the neckline of the sack). Close the inner band— very snugly! The bottom edge should cover most of the hand, just leaving the fingers exposed.
Upon laying your baby in SNOO, always ensure your child’s safety by securing the swaddle to the bed (every time, whether SNOO is on or off). Just slide the loop—on the end of each swaddle wing—over the safety clips on each side of the platform.

When can I use Snoo with my Baby?
While many babies do enjoy movement and it soothes them to sleep, it can irritate some babies. And, if your baby isn’t soothed by movement, then the SNOO is a very expensive bassinet, swaddle and white noise machine! Second, some babies simply need that human touch.

Keep in mind, however, the SNOO may operate more frequently at night after 3 months old. Once your baby starts his 4 month sleep regression (which can start anytime between 12 weeks old and 5 months old), your baby will cycle through more sleep cycles. That means your SNOO may have more “work” to do.

What is the Snoo baby bassinet?
The SNOO Bassinet was created by Dr. Harvey Karp, the author of Happiest Baby on the Block. It’s a smart bassinet that uses gentle side to side rocking motions and plays white noise to promote better sleep and self soothing for your baby. Unless the SNOO is in Weaning mode (more on that below), the motion is ALWAYS on.

Can Snoo sack be used in a regular crib?

A crib is a large, stable baby bed made with slatted sides surrounding a small, well-fitted mattress pad. It most closely resembles a cage for your baby. HANG ON.
