Introduction
Plans for Toy Story Land were presented by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts’ then-Chairman Bob Chapek at the 2015 D23 EXPO. A new 11-acre park that will let visitors experience new attractions and larger-than-life icons from the well-known Toy Story franchise would be constructed in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.
On June 30, 2018, Walt Disney World’s youngest expansion, Toy Story Land, debuted. (Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge received this honour a little over a year later.) Two completely new attractions, a popular ride that had been rerouted, a new Quick Service restaurant, and a tonne of vibrant theming made up the land’s opening lineup.

Location, Map, And Included Items
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios park, there is a land called Toy Story Land. The building is situated in the park’s southwest corner. Toy Story Land is all the way back and to the right if you’re entering the park through the main entrance.
Toy Story Land has two entry points. Toy Story Mania is not far from the main gate. You can enter the park by the largest gate to the right and immediately turn left to reach it from the park’s central area (in front of the Chinese Theater). After passing Walt Disney Presents and Voyage of the Little Mermaid, turn right (map of this coming below).
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is connected to the land via the alternate entrance (aka Star Wars Land). The route that connects the two areas begins close to Droid Depot in Galaxy’s Edge and finishes there in Toy Story Land.
The road that ends at Tower of Terror, Sunset Boulevard, does not lead to Toy Story Land. You’ll have to stroll back to the park’s centre.

The Toy Story Land
Beginning with Toy Story Land, Disney’s Hollywood Studios transports visitors to infinity and beyond while letting them enter the fictional worlds of their favourite movies. this fresh Visitors are transported into Andy’s exciting backyard by the 11-acre property. The environment is filled with gigantic toys that Andy has put together using his creative imagination, giving visitors the impression that they have been reduced to the size of a toy. Toys like building blocks, plastic buckets, shovels, and game board pieces were used to create the ideal environment for this land, which contains two brand-new, unopened attractions and one, already popular, attraction that has been expanded.
The Background Of Toy Story Land

In August 2010, the first Toy Story Land, which was actually called Toy Story Playland, opened at the Disneyland Paris Resort. It’s at Walt Disney Studios Park, the second theme park at Disney World, so there’s a solid reason why the tale of its arrival is remarkably similar to what we see in Orlando There is only one sister park between Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Paris. Bringing in Pixar’s flagship franchise was seen as a surefire way to boost attendance at the then-eight-year-old park. There, as in Florida, Disney has struggled to find a way to keep the “movie backlot” premise relevant and exciting to guests (a fact that is only made worse by Paris’s routine status as the least-visited Disney resort on the planet). (Of course, it didn’t helped that Toy Story 3 came out in theatres two months earlier.)
The idea was straightforward: make visitors into toys so they can play in Andy Davis’ backyard. In order to make this idea a reality, bamboo was planted to serve as extra-large grass blades, and three attractions were set up: The land’s signature ride is RC Racer, which is modelled after a massive Hot Wheels race track shaped like a giant U; other rides include Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin, a kiddie coaster in the caterpillar style; and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop, an 80-foot-tall paratower where visitors rise up and then float back down to the ground.
Link-A-Dog Race
This is the ride that winds around the area and energises the surroundings. Andy made it with materials he discovered in his backyard, just like everything else a “Mega Coaster Play Kit,” in this instance. The train is his lovely toy, Slinky Dog.
Young children can ride the attraction if they are at least 38 inches tall. Slinky Dog Dash appears a little more thrilling than the real ride experience in terms of thrill level. (Perhaps this is an instance where Slinky Dog’s bark is worse than his bite?)
Having said that, the ride’s first launch can be unsettling for children who have never been on one, and there are a few, albeit fleeting, out-of-your-seat airtime and other potentially tense moments. For the purpose of comparison, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train coaster at the Magic Kingdom is more intimidating than the Toy Story Land coaster, which is marginally more aggressive Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the park.
The bike briefly stops midway through the route before being launched again to climb another hill. Before the train makes its way back to the station, the passengers must negotiate a number of tiny bunny hills. The coaster is similar to everything else in Toy Story Land in that it is almost as entertaining to watch as it is to ride.
Alien Swirling Saucers

A flat spinning ride is Alien Swirling Saucers. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree in Disney California Adventure uses the same ride mechanism, but we thought the inside setting was far less fun than Mater’s outdoor version.
Nothing noteworthy is offered in the queue, and from what we can discern, the only history is that “this is Andy’s toy.” The game “Alien Swirling Saucers” Having a height restriction of 32 inches (81 centimetres), it is an odd choice of carnival ride for a place that caters primarily to children.
FastPass reservations for the Alien Swirling Saucer aren’t too difficult to find these days. It’s the least popular attraction in Toy Story Land, and we usually manage to fit it into our morning, but it frequently has wait times of under an hour.
Conclusion-Toy Story Land Storehood
There is no feature store in Toy Story Land. The most permanent and noticeable of the few little shops that have been set up in the area is across from Woody’s Lunch Box, close to Alien Swirling Saucers.
A tiny shop also started operating inside Toy Story Mania’s exit in 2019. You’re probably going to have greater luck if you’re hunting for Toy Story merchandise Pixar products are also available in the shops near to the park’s entrance and Beverly Sunset Boutique on Sunset Boulevard.
Toilets in Toy Story Land
Near Alien Swirling Saucers and the entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the Toy Story Land Restrooms are situated near the back of the park.
