Who makes Kirkland diapers for Costco?
My overall recommendation for Costco/Kirkland diapers is a solid 4.5 out of 5. ( We used 1000s of Kirkland wipes as well). But see below for what others have to say. Other Costco Diaper Reviews were overwhelmingly positive.
Kirkland Signature diapers are manufactured in Neenah, Wisconsin, USA. Who manufactures Kirkland Signature diapers? Kirkland Signature diapers are made by Kimberly-Clark, the company that manufactures Huggies diapers. This is probably why Costco also sells Huggies brand, and no other big diaper names appear in stores or online.
Costco had asked both Kimberly-Clark and rival corporation Procter & Gamble to produce diapers under the Kirkland brand, however only the former agreed. Parents will notice that the only name-brand diapers sold at Costco are Kimberly-Clark’s Huggies. Procter & Gamble’s Pampers are nowhere in sight.
When Costco customers see the red and black Kirkland Signature label, they know they’re going to get a good product at a great price. But they don’t always know who’s making it. Store brand products like Kirkland are typically manufactured by third parties, not the store itself.
Who makes Kirkland Signature at Costco?
And as customers rave, the generic products are of good quality and value. So what’s the big secret behind Costco’s adored brand? According to Money Talks News, many of Kirkland Signature products sold at Costco are actually made by the same major brands you know and love by name.
Just check out the product on Costco’s website — the warehouse chain lists CooperVision as the manufacturer behind Kirkland Signature’s daily disposable contact lenses under the specifications section. CooperVision bills itself as a global leader in contact lenses, featuring brands like MyDay, Clariti and Biofinity, which are also sold at Costco.
Most Kirkland Signature frames cost around $60, but Costco also sells cheaper options and often gives discounts when you purchase more than one frame at a time. Multiple users have reported that they saved upwards of $50 when purchasing the eyeglass frames from Costco instead of their regular optometrist or eyeglass store.
For more than two decades, the Kirkland Signature brand has stood for unparalled quality and value. We launched our own private-label brand so that we could take a more active role in setting and ensuring even better value for our members—the highest quality standards at the lowest possible prices.
Does Costco sell Huggies diapers?
Huggies and Kirkland Signature diapers go on sale most frequently as they are Costco’s preferred brands. Diapers at Costco usually go on sale every 3 months or so. These sales offer a discount of $5.00 to $9.00 off the regular price, and there is usually a limit of 2 boxes per membership.
In fact, you’re likely to find Huggies in every store that sells diapers, from online stores like Amazon to large grocery stores like Target, Walmart, and CVS, down to the independent grocery and convenience stores. Costco’s Kirkland diapers, on the other hand, are available at Costco, and membership is priced at $60.
But, you can also find Huggies Manufacturer’s Coupons online, so if you’re a savvy couponer….might be worth comparing your options using their coupon! Costco Pro Tip: Huggies Diapers, Little Snugglers, and Pull-Ups all go on sale at Costco several times a year!
Huggies diapers at Costco are a crowd favorite for a good reason – from the stay in place tab to their high absorbency they are one of the best diaper brands on the market and Costco has them in all sizes including pull ups.
Do Kirkland diapers smell bad?
Well, according to the reviews, they really do. In fact, Kirkland diapers score an average of 4.7 out of 5 in just under 7000 reviews, which is pretty impressive, especially for a budget diaper. Most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with parents saying they love their absorbency, comfort and, most of all, cost.
Other Costco Diaper Reviews were overwhelmingly positive. I’ve reviewed a ton of products. It is seldom that I see such positive reviews about a product, period. Having tried the cheap-o diapers (along with Pampers, Huggies, and others) I was not surprised then, to see the following reviews about this Kirkland product:
While absorbency is arguably the most important feature of a diaper, it’s important that liquid be kept off your baby’s skin once the diaper reaches fullness. Kirkland’s diapers contain a moisture-wicking gel that draws the liquid away from your baby’s bottom.
when the child pees, the diaper REALLY smells like pee annoyances with the recent changes to design (don’t fit the same) loved one size but hated next size up (didn’t fit well) recent design changes to the wings/tabs are bad, the closure is not smaller, skinnier and weaker, and the tabs rub on baby’s skin

I’ll be referring to Pampers Swaddlers for this post, but Pampers Cruisers are pretty similar. Are Kirkland diapers any good? Absolutely! They are very absorbent, have great elastic to hold in messes, and have great features that many store-brand diapers lack, like wetness indicators and size-up indicators.
I don’t have access to any older versions of Huggies diapers, but there are other bloggers out there who say that Kirkland diapers are an older version of a Huggies diaper and if you could compare them, you’d see that they are the same.
